Update Saddle
Today I received the springs and hinge. So I tested the "traffic sign" saddle but it was ugly as hell. Too small. So I went to a metal shop and got a piece of trash for free. This was excellent, I could make the saddle bigger and larger wish would result in a nicer result.
First I cut the shape out of the metal, free hand drawing and cutting. I welded some bolt on the saddle to make sure it will have a solid connection, because afterwards there will be foam and leather over and then I can not tighten the bolts anymore.

And off course some pictures of the result and instagram picture.
I'm pretty happy with the result, Maybe tomorrow I go to the upholstery for the saddle!

Saddle + Brakes
Finally, exams are finished! I can work now more on the bike. I got it back from the garage and I ordered the brakes. 2 Weeks for delivery. Meanwhile I can make my saddle. Today I made the saddle itself. The springs are ordered. From an old traffic sign I "stole" in my younger years :-) I made the saddle. It is a tight fit because there isn't much of space. But it works perfectly.

Electrics done !!!!
The new electric wiring is finally done! Now I can start with the drivetrain and brakes. I brought my bike to Motortechnica for the drivetrain, because a good alingment is essential. Then I will order the brakes en install it with some small modifications I guess.

Headlight and battery box
After two weeks I could finally work again due to school projects. I lowered the headlight and I installed the battery box fixed now. I welded some threaded rods for the battery box, it wont come off now :). Now he is ready for the final wiring and installing a new exhaust!.

Installing the headlight and cutting some wires out
Together with Joachim we followed the electrics diagram to cut out the most of the wiring I am not going to use anymore, some switches, pinkers, sidestandswitch,... So we reduced the amount of cables a lot already, next week we will rewire the beast again! Hopefully we don't miss anything so she we fire up again! :p
New parts arrived!
Finally the new parts arrived! Now I can rewire the whole bike. I have also ordered a velocity stack, I really like that!

Battery Box
Starting with the steel I got from a factory in their trashbin I made a batterbybox. I also provided a little space under the battery for the electronica units and my controls. So this is a nice clean and small box, where I can hide the ugly components.

Electrics: Part TWO
Monday I ordered new parts. I ordered a new cable set to rewire some things. I also ordered the lights! Can't wait to unpack the stuff!
Yesterday I went to a Metal factory to collect some junk parts to make a battery box. Very exited now! Updates follow this weekend.

Start up 2
I rewired some stuff and we ( Joachim and I ) had some troubles finding a leak. But we could start it. However there is something running not very smoothly but I will figure that later out. ( if someone nows what it is please feel free to tell me! )

Shorten the sidestand
Because the whole bike is now lower to the ground I had to shorten the sidestand. I just cut out a piece of the original and welded it back together
