Probably the biggest expense of the whole project. But I did not regret it, the wheels make the bike super awesome. I guess I just work some more in the weekend as studentjob :).
This are some pictures of the wheels my dad took, because Motortechnica is not closely by the door and my dad is sometimes there for his work he brought them for me. I can't wait to put them under my machine!!A blog about my garage project: the build of a hardtail bobber with as donor bike the Yamaha Virago XV 250 93' Any questions? Don't hesitate and ask me!

Controls
For the controls I really wanted to make some racecar looking controls. I bought some switches and 2 race cap guards. I'm not entirely sure where I'm going to put this control panel, I will decide later.

Installing the new gear on the steering
More fun than unpacking new stuff is installing the new stuff! With the risers and fork I had however a little problem. Because the fork was not from a high end aftermarket HD supplier the thread in the fork was damage because they did not covered the holes while painting and sandblasting. So I went with my fork to a local farm vehicle specialist Jos. He tapped a new wire in it.

Risers
I searched a lot to find suitable risers. Or the were for 1" bars or they didn't had the right screw for in the old springer fork. Eventually I found these awesome risers on http://throwbackmcparts.bigcartel.com/
New grips and levers
I ordered a new throttle, levers and grips for my bobber. It is like Christmas when you receive something like that !
I ordered this on http://www.caferaceronderdelen.nl/.
